Hi! :D

I’m Uma Akalkotkar (or Uma Snow), an Animation MFA student based in Dallas, Texas.

My work blends motion graphics, photography, various printmaking techniques, and traditional frame-by-frame animation. I love working with my hands and putting together videos using tangible materials.

I also: teach an undergraduate editing course at UT Dallas, contribute concert photography and artist interviews to various indepnedent publicaitons, and am the Editor-in-Chief of 0613focus!
